Because the spread of COVID-19 infection has not been stable, the 77th Annual Meeting of the JSM will be held as a hybrid style. It will be held locally at the Tsukuba International Conference Center from June 14th (Monday) to June 16th (Wednesday), 2021, and the speakers of the oral presentation will present by either on-site or online. Participants can attend either on-site or online depending on the participants surroundings. To attend both poster and oral presentations, please enter the online venue through the below “Online Venue” button. To log-in to the online venue, you need JSM membership ID (or login ID issued for non-members) and your registered email address.
A method of online attendance to the “Poster Presentation” venue.
You can watch videos of poster presentations pre-recorded by the presenters from June 1st (Tuesday) to June 15th (Tuesday), 2021. You can ask questions and receive answers using a chat Q&A function. You can watch and ask questions as many times as you like during the period. Answers by the presenter may take some time. The following is the procedure.
- ①Click the “Online Venue” button and enter the online venue.
- ②Select poster presentations you want to watch.
- ③Play a video and watch.
- ④Click a “Q&A” button and input your questions if you have questions.
- ⑤You can read an abstract PDF file by clicking a “presentation material” button.
A method of online attendance to the “Oral Presentation” venue.
The meeting will be held locally at the Tsukuba International Conference Center from June 14th (Monday) to June 16th (Wednesday), 2021, and the speakers of the oral presentation will present by either on-site or online method. The presentation date and time is as indicated in the program. Participants can attend either on-site or online. To attend online, please enter the online venue by the following procedure. - ①Click the “Online Venue” button and enter the online venue.
- ②Select oral presentations you want to attend. You can automatically move to the entrance of the Zoom Webinar site.
- ③Enter the Zoom Webinar site using either a Zoom installation version or a Zoom Browser version.
- ④At a “Join the Meeting” page, type the registered “Family name+First name”, check “I am not a robot”, and enter.
- ⑤By default, it is set to mute and video off until the operation staff gives the right to speak. Please mute and turn off the video except when you speak by designation of the chairperson.
- ⑥You may ask questions only during the Q&A time. Click the "Raise a hand" button at the bottom of the screen to ask a question. The operation staff will give you a right to say only when nominated by the chairperson, so unmute (video on is optional) and ask. Please use the "Q & A" function when asking questions by entering characters.
